Indian Bone Knife/Buckskin Sheath

This handmade, Indian Bone Knife would've been a standard weapon for any warrior for both hunting & battle. A wood handle is wrapped with hand dyed buckskin. The business end was shaped & honed from a cow bone. It measures 10-1/2" long. The leather sheath was also hand dyed with traditional decorations of a silver concho, horsehair hank & feather.

  This handmade knife has a total length of 11-3/4". With the fringe, about 8" from top to bottom. This is an excellent reproduction of years gone by.

  This is a hand knapped knife and the blade is made from white novaculite. Handle is carved from curly maple and decorated with antiqued brass tacks and nails. The tail piece is decorated with antiqued brass french oval beads.

   A reproduced artifact from days gone by. Made by George Roland a highly skilled flintknapper that specialize in replicating stone tools and creating lithic art. His unique hand-made items are intended to be displayed or used. If you collect high quality lithic artwork, this is the peice (approx. size 12" long.)
