Traditionally used as a method of keeping a baby secure while the mother worked, the cradleboard is still used by many Native American families today. This Rosebud Sioux Indian Papoose Cradle Board is hand made by a Native American artist. This artifact comes from an old trading post in Phoenix that closed down in 1983. This Cradle Board has been covered in red corduroy for a vibrant look. And, some of the fabric on this cradle board features some teddy bear patterns that are just perfect for baby. The handle has been covered in genuine buckskin leather for the traditional Native American look and natural textures. And, this traditional Indian artifact features some hand made seed bead work for extra ornamentation. The total length of this one of a kind Papoose Cradle Board is 34".
